Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out was also a great one. I second Paper Boy and Tecmo Bowl as well. Was also a big fan of RBI Baseball.

Many hours spent playing Zelda, Bionic Commando and Contra. Games are too fancy now-a-days, we need an 8bit revolution.!

    Incredibly difficult.

    In no particular order:
    1. Bionic Commando (An exciting new version of this game is coming soon)

    2. Final Fantasy - Love the entire series let’s just pretend X-2 doesn’t exist though.

    3. Destiny of an Emperor - Not sure why I liked this game so much, I think because of at the time it could be considered “graphic” if you had an imagination. Let’s just say you could decapitate 8-bit people.

I never was allowed to have a Nintendo, but I did play on my friend’s, here is my list:

    1.  Pro Wrestling (for some reason this was insanely addicting)
    2. Excite Bike
    3.  Metroid

my top 3: (man, you weren’t kidding…. SO difficult)
Mega Man 2: perfection of the side-scrolling action game.
Dragon Warrior: the first game I considered to be “epic” in my youth.
Contra: the very definition of replayability.

Honorable mention to both NES Zeldas, all 3 Mario Bros, Star Tropics (which i beat!) and of course Tetris, possibly the single most well known and reproduced game of all time.

    RBI Baseball, SUPER Techmo Bowl

But, the best of all time, is not NES, friends. It’s Super Baseball 2020 for Sega.
